When you're getting ready to host, the last thing you want is guests staring through smudged, grimy glass. Dirty windows are one of those things that quietly bring down the whole feel of a room - even if everything else looks great.
This Montpelier home had some seriously impressive windows. Tall bay windows in the living area, a large picture window in the bathroom, floor-to-ceiling views of the backyard. Beautiful bones. But windows that size collect a lot of dust, pollen, and grime - both inside and out. We cleaned them top to bottom, inside and out, getting every pane streak-free and crystal clear.
Here's the thing about big windows - they're only an asset when they're actually clean. When the glass is spotless, natural light floods the room differently. The whole space feels more open. Views that were kind of muddy suddenly pop. That's exactly what happened here.
We also handle screen cleaning as part of our process. Screens trap a surprising amount of debris, and dirty screens block light and push grime back onto clean glass every time a breeze comes through. Getting them cleaned at the same time as the glass makes a real difference in how long the results last.
Whether you're prepping for a gathering or just tired of looking through a film of buildup, clean windows make more of an impact than most people expect. The difference is immediate.
